General rules
The <Guild Of Poland> is a voluntary and free of any fees association of World of Warcraft players on the Aggramar EU realm. The guild members take care of the development of the guild and are loyal towards it at the same time improving their characters and gaining knowledge on the game itself. The basis of the guild is a fair-play altitude within the team. Each guild member is its representative as well and makes every effort possible to represent it in a worthy manner for the increase of the guild reputation on the server. Guild members play in a friendly atmosphere avoiding unnecessary conflicts and fairly competing against each other never standing in a disagreement with the common interest of the guild.

Savoir-vivre and respect for the others
The guild members agree to accept the differences of the other players’ views and point out the differences respecting the well-known savoir-vivre. The usage of words or expressions known as vulgar or obscene is disallowed on the guild channel as well as in any form during the guild meetings. Insulting other players especially when relating to the race, religion or sexual orientation is prohibited. Disobeying of this rule will lead to giving a warning or even to removing from the guild.

Structure of the guild
The structure of the guild is hierarchical i.e. the guild members have ranks which are not dependant on the character’s level nor on the length of their membership period.

The following ranks have been defined in the guild:
Trainee (Stażysta) – lasting for two weeks probationary period during which the character learns how to play in the team and integrates themselves as well. The character has no rights to withdraw any items from the guild bank.
Student (Uczeń) – full member of the guild who has not gained enough experience but is willing to learn. A student can withdraw up to two items per day from the guild bank. Alts of the main characters being already in the guild are assigned the rank of a student automatically.
Expert (Ekspert) – player with the significant knowledge, able to help less experienced players, is active in the guild life, does not refuse dealing with group quests or dungeons. An expert can withdraw up to three items per day from the guild bank.
Master (Mistrz) – player who has mastered the character they play, participates in the guild life on a regular basis, gives advices and answers to the less experienced people’s questions, deals with quests giving hints in complicated cases. Master is a frequent and important participant of dungeons. They can also propose the direction the guild should take. A master can withdraw up to five items per day from the guild bank.
Grand master (Arcymistrz) – experienced and responsible player, is talented at leadership and owing to this, often becomes a dungeon or a raid leader. A grand master can share the knowledge on the quests, classes, professions, armour/weapons. A grand master can withdraw up to ten items per day from the guild bank.
GM’s deputy (Zastępca GMa) – regular player with great experience, can organise the guild life. They often become both the organiser and participant of dungeons and raids. It’s a guild member who does not refuse helping the others and giving advices according to their best knowledge. A GM’s deputy can actively manage the guild supporting the Guild Master, can invite or remove the guild members, co-decides about the promotions and demotions. A GM’s deputy can withdraw up to hundred items per day from the guild bank.
Guild Master – a guild member playing regularly, having great knowledge on the game, participates very often in the guild life both relating to the organisation of team play, helping the others and integrating the guild members. The GM should have the negotiation and conflict solving skills. The GM takes care of the repute of the guild and its development by planning and implementing changes and improvements; also organises the guild meetings.

There are also few special purpose ranks:
Bank Master – character representing the guild bank and having broader access to deposit and withdraw items (1000 per day) and gold (1000 per day) from the guild bank.
Class Master – a class leader e.g. for rogues, warriors, etc. A class master is an experienced guild member having important knowledge on the class who they lead and willing to share this knowledge to the other players of the same class. A class master is responsible for the recruitment of the new players of the relevant class, evaluating of the new players and giving training on how to effectively use the skills of the class in quests, dungeons/raids and PvP. A class master can withdraw up to fifty items per day from the guild bank.
Isolation ward (Izolatka) – temporary limited rights of the guild members due to the notorious breaking of the guild regulations. A character in the isolation ward is not permitted to use the guild bank or to write on the guild channel. The isolation ward is applied until the person undoubtedly accepts and follows the guild regulations. A character being in the isolation ward or the one, who has just left it, will be dismissed from the guild in case of any new proven events of breaking the regulations.

Guild recruitment
The guild regulations settle that a new user (a main character) can be invited to the guild having reached level 20 at minimum. An extra character (alt) of any given user can be invited to the guild provided that the respective main character, who is already in the guild, reaches level 61 at minimum. Any following alt character follows the analogical rule i.e. the main character with level 61 min, first alt character with level 61 min and second alt with level 20 min at the moment of invitation. The recruiting activities are handled by the Guild Master, GM’s deputies and Class Masters. On a general basis it is allowed for any guild member starting from the rank of a student to propose new candidates. The recruitment process is in fact interviewing the candidate to figure out the details on the character and their experience in World of Warcraft as well as foreseeable activity in the guild and any specific time constrains.

Activity rules in the guild
The guild is a society of people being the citizens of the virtual world of World of Warcraft. The level of integration of the members, its reputation and achievements are strongly determined by the activity of its members. The fact itself of being the member is just the statistical information if not combined with people’s involvement. The guild membership means that the members commit to the active play in World of Warcraft. The regulations do not precise the scope of the activities taking into account any time constraints of the people or any unforeseeable events making playing WoW impossible for the certain period of time. However for clarity and keeping an order all the members are kindly requested to leave the leave public notes or sending informative mails in every case when the absence (counted as the time without logging in to WoW) can exceed one calendar month. If such a note or proper information will not be provided, the not active characters will be receiving the WoW mails to confirm the willingness of further cooperation within the guild. A negative answer or no answer at all within 14 days from the moment of sending the mail will lead to the removal of the given character from the guild with an open re-invitation option if the time constraints cease.
Nevertheless the Guild Master and GM’s deputies can send the inquiry mails to the people whose activity in the guild and the character improvements (level) are marginal despite of having been logged in from time to time.

Promotions and demotions
As mentioned above, a higher rank in the guild is not reached automatically along with the character development. A promotion can be given to a guild member who in certain time period has made a significant progress considering both level and the playing efficiency, is noticeably willing to help the others and suggests the improvements in the way the guild works, does not avoid the co-playing in more and more complex dungeons and raids, is willing to take responsibility for the people and demonstrates over-average mastery of the game. To gain a promotion, a given person has to be supported by at least three other members of the guild having the same or higher rank.

Demotions in the guild are given for breaking the regulations in spite of warnings and/or a temporary sending to the Isolation ward or for notorious refusing to give a hand to the others and to participate in the dungeons/raids being logged in to the game at the same time.

Team play rules
The guild membership requires a frequent communication with the co-players. For this purpose serves the guild channel. It is commonly used to ask the questions related to the game, requesting help, suggesting dungeons/raids or for the informal communication to better integrate the guild. The guild channel is a natural place for the questions to be asked and sharing useful information although in case of frequent topics, the official guild forum should be used (www.wowpolandteam.fora.pl) so that any advices and hints can reach the broader audience.
For the order on the guild channel, the members are asked to keep the informal conversation at the reasonable level which does not interfere in receiving of important information and questions. In case of longer discussing more private matters, it is suggested to use other communication channels like party chat, whisper or voice communicators like Skype.
Playing World of Warcraft in the <Guild Of Poland> often requires team cooperation. For the guild communication it is assumed that the guild members use GroupCalendar AddOn which allows setting up meetings and other guild events as well as organising dungeons and raids.

On top of that, to ensure sufficient level of communication while group questing, dungeons and raids and for better integrating of the team, it is highly recommended to use Skype.

Using the guild bank
The guild bank is a common tool for the guild members. Depending on the rank, the members’ access to the bank will vary. The <Guild Of Poland> bank consists of tabs containing items intended for increasingly higher levels.
The guild member can deposit items in the bank and withdraw the items from the bank depending on the specific permissions given to the rank they have.
A general rule related to the bank is keeping the order within, not depositing items having marginal or no usefulness at all like grey items. People withdrawing items from the bank should follow an important rule: do not withdraw items which are unusable to them (like mail or plate item to a mage) or requiring higher level than the given character has. The items withdrawn from the guild bank are not intended to be sold at the Auction House (AH) as it is in disagreement with the idea of guild bank. The last tab of the guild bank contains the most valuable items and should be treated as a guild fund for purchasing further bank tabs. Only the bank masters are allowed to withdraw the items from the last tab to sell them at the AH or to sell the outcome of the disenchanting in order to deposit gold to the guild account.
